[ drifters ]

Hi guys! It's been a while. I'm deep in the heat of NaNoWriMo (nanowrimo.org), and I'm sad to say that I eventually decided to not write drifters ii (working title) for my wrimo. However, I did actually start on it before the sequel. I can't promise that I'm going to write anymore (and definitely not this month) but I thought I oughta post what I have now. maybe a lot of really nice comments will remind me in december. :)

I made a playlist. Originally, I was going to HTML-it up all pretty, add graphics and all that stuff, but these days I'm just TOO BUSY to do so. Some of this does incorporate head-canon of the driftersverse (along with the sequel still knocking around in my head) so I'll explain as necessary.

Author's notes: WOW, GUYS. Did I really write this much? I created drifters exactly three months ago (date created: June 4th) and since then it's been a wild ride starting on the kink meme and ending up eventually here. This has been a great ride and a great staple to fall back on and a WONDERFUL world to play around with. Is there a sequel in the works? Possibly. We'll have to see. My writing schedule is pretty busy for the upcoming months (ST Bigbang is due on the 15th, and I haven't started yet, then NaNoWriMo!) so it depends. The ideas are there. I'll give you that much.

should the jims & spocks meeting be from...

I basically sat awake for a couple of hours thinking about how I wanted to do the scene where the Enterprise hails the Seleya (and that's the way it's going to happen) but I couldn't figure out from whose eyes I wanted to do if from. At first I figured I was going to do it from drifters!Spock POV (point of view, if you haven't figured it out) and have him be all concerned regarding some new spock and that kind of thing. but looking back on it, i think that xi!Kirk would have an interesting view as well, noticing the hardness in his drifters counterpart, the fluidity he has with his Spock.
